Easy Home Recipes Hub

Hi, I’m Mira.

I burnt rice for two years before I figured it out. This site is what came after.

When I moved into my own apartment, I had no idea how to cook. I mean zero. I once added water to pasta before the pot was even on the stove. I bought a bag of lentils and kept moving it to different shelves for six months because I had no idea what to do with it.

My mom cooked every night growing up, but I never paid attention. I just showed up, ate, and left. When she wasn’t around anymore to do that, I was completely lost.

The first meal I tried to make on my own was scrambled eggs. I walked away from the pan for sixty seconds. They came back rubber. I ate them standing over the sink.

I didn’t take a class or buy a fancy cookbook. I just started trying things, messing them up, and trying again. I called my mom a lot. She’d describe something by smell “cook the onions until they smell sweet, not sharp” and I’d stand there with my face over the pan trying to understand what she meant.

Slowly, I did understand. A pinch of this, a little more time, a smaller flame. One day I made her lentil soup from memory and it actually tasted right. I stood in my kitchen and felt genuinely proud of something for the first time in a while. That feeling is the whole reason this site exists.

Easy Home Recipes Hub is for people who cook at home not in a TV kitchen, not with professional tools, not with an hour and a half to spare. Just regular people making real food in their actual lives.

Every recipe here is written the way I wish someone had explained it to me: in plain language, with honest timing, and with a note if something is easy to get wrong. I tell you what the food should look like, what it should smell like, and what to do if something goes sideways because it will sometimes, and that’s completely normal.

There are no hard rules here, no judgment, and no pressure to be a great cook. The only goal is to help you make something good tonight with what you have and feel good about it when you sit down to eat.
