- ½ large green cabbage chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup white or long-grain rice rinsed and drained
- 1 medium onion finely diced
- Flavor Base & Seasonings
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup tomato sauce or diced tomatoes
- Pantry Staples
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth or water
Prep Ingredients
Chop cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Dice onion and mince garlic.
Rinse rice and drain well.
Cook the Base
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or deep pan over medium heat.
Add onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
