  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Can substitute with buffalo sauce or blue cheese dressing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with other cheeses.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Essential for achieving a crispy top.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on personal preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and green onions. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached, and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  • Spread the crack chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Place the top half back on.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the tops of the rolls.

Cooking

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and slightly crispy.

Serving

  • Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Cut into individual portions and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results. You can prepare the filling a day in advance. Always let sliders cool before cutting to make serving easier.
