  • 6 pieces French rolls or hoagie buns Use fresh for best results.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season your beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, combine the beef broth, water, French onion soup mix, and soy sauce.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned roast in the Crockpot and pour the broth mixture over the top.
  • Set your Crockpot to low heat and let it cook for 8-10 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  • Once cooked, remove the beef from the Crockpot and shred it using two forks.
