- 1 –2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the glaze:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar optional
- Optional additions:
- Fresh thyme or parsley
- Lemon zest
- Pinch of chili flakes
Prepare the carrots by peeling and trimming them, then toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
