  • 1 pound Shrimp (peeled and deveined) Opt for large shrimp for a satisfying bite.
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Good quality oil adds moisture and flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) Essential for a robust taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed enhances overall flavor.
  • to taste Salt Standard seasoning to elevate the dish.
  • to taste Pepper Standard seasoning to elevate the dish.
  • 1 cup Vegetables for skewering (bell peppers, onions, zucchini) These work beautifully together.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Add the cubed steak and shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Assembly

  • Thread the steak and shrimp onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of vegetables for color and flavor.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the steak is cooked to your preference and the shrimp turns pink and opaque.

Serving

  • Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a minute before serving with your favorite dipping sauce or a fresh salad.

Notes

For best results, let steak rest after grilling, don’t overcook the shrimp, and experiment with different marinades.
