Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash and cut your broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince the garlic and set everything aside for quick access during cooking.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once heated, add the ground beef. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks for around 5-7 minutes, until browned thoroughly.
  • Once the beef is fully cooked, stir in the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, add the broccoli florets and stir everything together.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well. Let everything simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the broccoli to soften while absorbing the flavors.
  • Taste your dish and adjust with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot, perhaps over a bed of rice or with noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave until warmed through.
