Instructions

  • Prep Ingredients:
  • Ensure bananas are fully frozen.
  • Add milk to blender first to help blending.
  • Blend:
  • Add frozen bananas, cocoa powder, mint (extract or leaves), spinach (if using), almond butter, and salt.
  • Blend on high until thick and smooth.
  • Stop to scrape down sides as needed.
  • Adjust Texture:
  • Add small splashes of milk only if necessary.
  • The mixture should be thick and scoopable—not runny.

  • Serve right away for best texture.

Notes

  • Start with less peppermint extract—it’s strong.
  • Use frozen bananas for thick smoothie bowl texture.
  • Add more frozen banana if mixture becomes too thin.
  • Best enjoyed fresh; do not refrigerate after blending.
  • For higher protein, add chocolate protein powder or Greek yogurt.
