Main Ingredients

  • 1 package regular Oreo cookies (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • to taste red candy melts For festive coloring.
  • to taste blue candy melts For festive coloring.
  • optional sprinkles For decoration.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they reach a fine crumb texture. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  • Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Use a spatula or your hands to mix until thoroughly combined. The mixture should be moldable.
  • Form the Balls: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll them into balls, placing them on a lined baking sheet. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  • Chill the Balls: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 20-30 minutes to set.
  • Melt the Chocolate: While the Oreo balls are cooling, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Coat the Balls: Dip each chilled Oreo ball in the melted white chocolate using a fork, allowing the excess to drip off. Return to the lined baking sheet.
  • Add Color: Melt the red and blue candy melts separately. Drizzle or dip the coated Oreo balls into the colored candy melts to create a fun festive design.
  • Chill & Enjoy: Allow the coating to set by placing the Oreo balls back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes. Once set, they’re ready to serve!

Notes

Store leftover Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze them for up to two months. Avoid overheating chocolate to maintain a smooth consistency.
