Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 10 cups popped popcorn (approx. 1 cup unpopped)
  • 1 cup red candy melts (or red chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup white candy melts (or white chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup blue candy melts (or blue chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup sprinkles (in red, white, and blue)
  • Optional lollipop sticks or treat bags For serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by popping the corn according to package instructions. Remove any unpopped kernels and place the popped popcorn in a large bowl.
  • In three separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the red, white, and blue candy melts, microwaving in 30-second intervals and stirring in between until fully melted.
  • Divide the popped popcorn evenly among the three bowls and stir gently to ensure each batch is well coated with the melted candy.

Assembly

  • On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form little popcorn clusters using a spoon or your hands, optionally inserting a lollipop stick into the middle of each cluster.
  • Immediately sprinkle mini marshmallows and festive sprinkles over each popcorn pop before the candy coating hardens.

Setting and Serving

  • Allow the popcorn pops to cool for about 30 minutes, or until the candy coating is firm.
  • Pack them into treat bags or display them on a festive platter and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure popcorn is dry for better candy adherence. Get creative with additional toppings for personalized treats.
