- 1 bag pretzel rods (about 20 rods)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles You can buy a mix or separate.
- Parchment paper For lining the baking sheet.
Instructions
Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy.
Melting the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate chips. Heat in the microwave at 30-second intervals until fully melted, stirring in between to avoid burning.
- Repeat this process with the dark chocolate chips in a separate bowl.
Dipping the Pretzels
- Take a pretzel rod and dip it into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s coated about 2/3 of the way up. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the dipped pretzel on the prepared parchment paper.
Adding Sprinkles
- While the chocolate is still wet, immediately sprinkle red, white, and blue sprinkles onto the chocolate-coated area. Get creative!
Chilling
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
Serving
- Once set, arrange the Patriotic Pretzel Rods in a fun cup or jar for a festive touch.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. Avoid moisture to keep the sprinkles from getting soggy.
