  • 1 can crescent dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin by greasing it or using muffin liners.
  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface, pinch the seams together, and roll it out into a rectangle.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough, leaving borders. Scatter fresh raspberries on top.
  • Roll the dough into a log and slice it into 1½-inch thick sections. Stand slices upright in the muffin tin.
  • Brush the tops with beaten egg wash and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden.
  • Allow cruffins to cool slightly in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack.
