Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 package crescent roll dough Use refrigerated crescent roll dough.
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped Ensure shrimp is thoroughly cooked and chopped.
  • 1 cup crab meat Can use canned or fresh crab meat.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Softened for easier mixing.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Adds freshness to the filling.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For added flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Open the crescent roll dough package and separate it into individual triangles. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spoon a tablespoon or two of the filling mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  • Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the point, pinching the seams to seal.

Baking

  • Place the stuffed crescents in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make sure not to overstuff the crescent rolls and seal them properly to prevent leaks during baking. For a spicy variation, add diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes to the filling.
