Ingredients

For the Wraps

  • 2 pieces Boneless chicken breast Sliced into thin strips
  • 4 pieces Large flour tortillas For wrapping
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil For cooking the chicken
  • 4 leaves Fresh lettuce leaves
  • 1/4 head Purple cabbage Chopped
  • 1 piece Carrot Grated
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro Roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 inch Ginger Grated
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Instructions

Preparation

  • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips, grate the carrots, chop the purple cabbage, and roughly chop the cilantro.

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat, add the chicken, and sauté until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Making the Peanut Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey. Adjust to taste.

Assembling the Wraps

  • Take a large tortilla, lay down some lettuce leaves, a scoop of cooked chicken, grated carrots, chopped cabbage, and drizzle with the peanut sauce.

Rolling and Serving

  • Fold the sides of the tortilla and roll it from the bottom up, snugly wrapping your creation. Slice in half or enjoy whole.

Notes

Avoid soggy wraps by placing the peanut sauce on top of the filling. Prep the chicken and sauce in advance for quick assembly.
