  • 1/3 cup cooked quinoa
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded carrots, shredded zucchini, cooked quinoa, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well incorporated.
  • Shape the Mixture: Take a small amount of the mixture and, using your hands, shape it into finger-like forms.
  • Coat with Breadcrumbs: If desired, roll each finger in breadcrumbs to give them a crispy exterior.
  • Bake: Place the formed chicken fingers on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown, flipping halfway for even cooking.
  • Cool and Serve: Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes before serving to your little ones.
