- 1½ lbs chicken breast or thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
- Skewers
- For the marinade:
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- For the bang bang sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 –3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 –2 teaspoons hot sauce adjust to taste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Optional garnish:
- Green onions
- Sesame seeds
Cut the chicken into evenly sized pieces and pat dry.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and oil to create the marinade.
Add chicken to the marinade, toss well, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, and honey until smooth. Adjust spice to taste.
Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers evenly.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook skewers for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
