Cuisine American
- 2 cups milk dairy or plant-based
- 1½ cups breakfast cereal Cheerios, cornflakes, granola, or fruity cereal
- ½ cup Greek yogurt optional, for extra creaminess
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
In a mixing bowl, combine milk, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Add 1 cup of cereal into the milk mixture and let it sit for 1–2 minutes so the cereal lightly absorbs the milk.
Spoon a small amount of dry cereal into the bottom of each popsicle mold.
Pour the milk and cereal mixture into the molds until nearly full.
Add a few extra cereal pieces on top for texture.
Insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
Place the molds in the freezer for 4–6 hours or until fully frozen.
To remove the popsicles, run the outside of the molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently pull them out.
Serve immediately or store in the freezer.
-
Use cereals that hold their shape well when soaked, such as Cheerios or granola.
-
Avoid overfilling molds with cereal to ensure the popsicles freeze evenly.
-
If you prefer a creamier texture, increase the Greek yogurt slightly.
-
Silicone popsicle molds make removal much easier.
