Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk dairy or plant-based
  • cups breakfast cereal Cheerios, cornflakes, granola, or fruity cereal
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt optional, for extra creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine milk, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  • Add 1 cup of cereal into the milk mixture and let it sit for 1–2 minutes so the cereal lightly absorbs the milk.
  • Spoon a small amount of dry cereal into the bottom of each popsicle mold.
  • Pour the milk and cereal mixture into the molds until nearly full.
  • Add a few extra cereal pieces on top for texture.
  • Insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
  • Place the molds in the freezer for 4–6 hours or until fully frozen.
  • To remove the popsicles, run the outside of the molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently pull them out.
  • Serve immediately or store in the freezer.

Notes

  • Use cereals that hold their shape well when soaked, such as Cheerios or granola.
  • Avoid overfilling molds with cereal to ensure the popsicles freeze evenly.
  • If you prefer a creamier texture, increase the Greek yogurt slightly.
  • Silicone popsicle molds make removal much easier.
